The Sanilac County Community Foundation announces that Allen Hoagg, graduate of Sandusky Jr/Sr High School, has been selected as the 2019 recipient of the Mark S. Hund Memorial Scholarship Fund.
During high school, Allen was a member of the Sandusky National Honor Society and assisted with multiple activities during his time as part of this organization such as the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Moving Wall Project, setting up the annual Blood Drives, and his favorite one, the Suicide Prevention Walk. This fall he plans to attend Eastern Michigan University, majoring in criminal law and psychology. Allen’s parents are Michael and Beth Westover.
The Mark S. Hund Memorial Scholarship was established in 1997 in memory of Mark, a long time principal of Sandusky High School. It is awarded annually to a Sandusky High School senior who has shown strength and determination. It is available for any form of career training or education.
