The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Braylon Davis as the 2026 recipient of the Cros-Lex Pioneers Scholarship.
Braylon Davis, son of Stephanie and Bruce Davis, graduated from Croswell-Lexington High School. During high school, he was a four-year football player and four-year award winner, receiving the 2025 Utility Award and a BWAC Award. Braylon was also a four-year varsity wrestler, earning Blue Water Area Conference Champion honors, qualifying for the MHSAA State Championships twice, serving as team captain three times, and being named Most Valuable Player twice. In baseball, he was a four-year varsity player, serving as team captain twice and earning Utility Player of the Year, Defensive Most Valuable Player, and earned BWAC Award honors. He was also a four-year, three-sport athlete and recipient of the Croswell-Lexington Pioneer Award, as well as the 2026 Megan Thompson Pioneer Spirit Award. Braylon is attending Trine University studying Design Engineering Technology while playing for the Trine University Thunder football team.
The Cros-Lex Pioneers Scholarship is made possible through numerous generous contributions to support graduating seniors pursuing post-secondary education. It is awarded to those who embody the spirit of pioneering in education, community, and life.
