Experience the Power of Charitable Giving
November 7, 2024 at 7pm
Sanilac Women Who Care invite you to participate in an exciting night of philanthropy at the Lexington Village Theatre.
For your convenience, we are offering two different ways to pay in advance. Online tickets are eligible for the Fast Lane during event check-in.
The Details
This is the 12th annual event and you won’t want to miss it.
Come enjoy a lovely evening of networking and experience the power of charitable giving.
Here is how the experience works:
- Bring $100 and help give away a grant!
- Three people in attendance will be randomly selected to talk about why their favorite charity deserves the grant.
- Attendees will ballot vote that night to decide the recipient!
How Did We Begin?
How did this all begin? Well, a group of Sanilac Women Who Care got together wanting to do some good, and the rest is history!
But really, in 2013 a group of community-minded women set out to support the great work of local philanthropy in a meaningful way. The goal was to harness the power of giving and create awareness for the great work being done by nonprofits around our county. And what better way to do that than to gather women together, create a community of philanthropic learners and doers, and give away the largest local grant in Sanilac County….and all in one night!
That is how Sanilac Women Who Care was born. Since then we have given out over $100K to the community we call home. Each year with a goal to give more than we did the previous year and to involve women in the engagement of powerful philanthropic giving.
We hope you consider joining us and bring a friend!
