The Sanilac County Community Foundation announces that Kersten Wood, 2016 graduate of Brown City High School, is this year’s recipients of the Carol A. Crake Scholarship.
Kersten is the daughter of Kevin and Kelly Wood. She was involved in National Honor Society, student council, varsity volleyball and 4-H. Kersten will be attending Central Michigan University this fall where she plans to major in Health Administration.
The Carol A. Crake Scholarship Fund was established in 2007, and is available to eligible graduates of Brown City, Imlay City or North Branch High Schools who are already accepted to a 2 or 4 year college or university.
