The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce one of this year’s Henderson Family Scholarship recipients as Morgan Taege graduate of Sandusky Jr/Sr. High School.
Morgan Taege is the daughter of David and Jennifer Taege. She plans to attend the University of Michigan to study Biomedical Engineering. In high school, Morgan was active in National Honor Society, Basketball, Key Club, Student Council, Softball, Math Team, Quizbowl, and Mascot Committee.
The purpose of this fund is to encourage interest in pursuing the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineer, Mathematics) Fields. To be awarded to a Sandusky Jr. / Sr. High School Graduating Senior. The Henderson family has a long-standing legacy of community involvement which was fueled by their local business and employee connection. Their hope is that the fields that propelled them forward for over 50 years (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) will continue to be a passion for the generations to come.
