The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Abby Reed is one of the recipients of the John Wilder Memorial Scholarship for 2023.
Abby’s parents are Renae and Ken Reed. She will be attending St. Clair County Community College to pursue an associate degree in criminal justice. During school at Yale High School, Abby played many sports including volleyball, basketball, and softball. She was also very active as a volunteer in her community.
The John Wilder Memorial Scholarship was established by John’s family in his memory in 2010. It is available to eligible graduating student athletes at Peck and Yale High Schools.
