The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that the recipient of the Hewitt-Riley Scholarship is Grace Barrett.
Grace plans to attend St. Clair County Community College this fall for two years and then transfer to a University. She plans to be an art therapist or an art teacher.
This scholarship was established in honor of Thomas Hewitt, a Croswell-Lexington High School Graduate, by his mother Mary Riley. The scholarship is made available to a Croswell-Lexington student with a C+ – B average who is planning to attend college. Special consideration will be given to those entering the field of agricultural studies.
