The advisory board for the Sanilac Women Who Care is planning its fourth annual event October 6, 2016 at the Lexington Village Theatre. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m., with entertainment,complimentary hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and networking to promote favorite charities.
Each year the grant amount has grown, with the 2015 event winner, Cros-Lex Project Blessing receiving $7,300.
Those in attendance bring $100 of which 100% goes for the grant to be given away that night. The grant winner is determined by attendees’ votes for their top choice of three randomly chosen and nominated charities.
