Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that this year’s recipient of the Joshua Ross Memorial Scholarship is MacKenzie Kelly, a 2015 graduate of Marlette High School. MacKenzie is the daughter of Kirk and Marty Kelly. She participated in Varsity Cross Country, Varsity Basketball, Varsity Soccer, National Honor Society and Student Council. MacKenzie plans to attend Lake Superior State University to study Criminalistics, Criminal Justice and Natural Resources.
The Joshua Ross Memorial Scholarship was started in December of 1998 in memory of Joshua Ross, a Brown City High School senior. He was active and involved in his community. This scholarship is given annually to a student that reflects the character and interests of Josh. It is administered through the Sanilac County Community Foundation.
