Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the recipient of the Dave Blank Athletic & Leadership Scholarship is Olivia Jacobson.
Olivia is the daughter of Craig and Jane Jacobson. She is a graduate of Sandusky High School, where she participated in many extracurricular activities including volleyball, basketball, track, softball, National Honor Society, student council, and yearbook. This fall she plans to attend Grand Valley State University to pursue a career in Nursing.
The family of Dave Blank, and the Sanilac County Community Foundation, proudly award the annual Dave Blank Athletic and Leadership Scholarship in memory of Dave. Each year this scholarship will be awarded to a student who’s athletic and leadership qualifications, along with their varied volunteer and work experiences, are an embodiment of the life that Dave lived. Dave’s high school experiences in sports and leadership prepared him for a successful team-building career in hiring, managing, and guiding many men and women to meet their potentials and to fulfill successful careers.
