The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the recipient of the Dave Blank Athletic & Leadership Scholarship is Morgan Taege, a Sandusky High School 2023 graduate.
Morgan Taege is the daughter of David and Jennifer Taege. She plans to attend the University of Michigan to study Biomedical Engineering. In high school, Morgan was active in the National Honor Society, Basketball, Key Club, Student Council, Softball, Math Team, Quiz bowl, and Mascot Committee.
The family of Dave Blank, and the Sanilac County Community Foundation, proudly award the annual Dave Blank Athletic and Leadership Scholarship in memory of Dave. Each year this scholarship will be awarded to a student who’s athletic and leadership qualifications, along with their varied volunteer and work experiences, are an embodiment of the life that Dave lived.
Dave’s high school experiences in sports and leadership prepared him for a successful team-building career in hiring, managing, and guiding many men and women to meet their potentials and to fulfill successful careers.
