The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Taylor Sempf, graduate from Peck High School, is the recipient of the Winston D. McCanam Memorial Scholarship for 2020.
Taylor is currently attending Adrian College. She is on both the track and cross country teams at Adrian. Taylor is majoring in exercise science: pre-professional and plans on becoming a Physical Therapist.
The Winston D. McCanam Memorial Scholarship was established in 2019 in his memory by his family to give graduating students from Peck Jr./Sr. High with a grade point average of 2.4 or above.
The recipient of the scholarship is chosen on the basis of athletic and academic achievement, and financial need. The scholarship is administered through the Sanilac County Community Foundation.
