The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Lily Connelly graduate from Croswell-Lexington High School, is the recipient of the Cros-Lex STEM Scholarship for 2020.
Lily Connelly is the daughter of Matthew and Kristen Connelly. She plans to attend St. Clair County Community College this fall and will be competing in cross country, basketball, and track. Lily had a successful academic and athletic career during her time at Cros-Lex High School. She participated in cross country, basketball, and track. Some of her favorite memories are: earning an All State title in the 800m run during her Junior year, completing her senior year Basketball season with 284 points and earning the MVP award in the BWAC, and achieving her goal of participating in the MHSAA State Finals in Cross Country all 4 years of high school. Lily was a member of the National Honor Society, served on the Student Council, and was a member of the Executive Board. She also participated in 4-H, the Conservation Club, and many other activities.
This fund has been established to support a scholarship for a graduating Croswell-Lexington High School senior pursuing a career in a STEM field. It is administered through the Sanilac County Community Foundation.
