The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce this year’s recipient of the Thorley Family Scholarship is Jackson Lincoln.
Jackson Lincoln, a 2018 graduate of Croswell-Lexington High School plans to attend Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan this fall to major in English / Secondary Education and receive a high school teaching degree. He will also be on the Men’s Varsity Track and Field team at Cornerstone. During high school, Jackson participated in football all four years and ran track his Junior and Senior year. He was the captain of both the varsity track and football teams his senior year. Jackson is the son of Amy Schmidt and Jeff Lincoln, both of Lexington.
The Thorley Family Scholarship was established as part of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Challenge in 1996, and is available to an eligible graduate of Croswell-Lexington High School with proven excellence in academic and extra-curricular areas and planning to attend a college/university/trade school to pursue an education in education and/or business finance.
