The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Skyler Smith as the 2025 recipient of the Thomas G. Varosi Scholarship.
Skyler Smith, son of Carol and Christopher Smith, graduated from Ubly High School. During high school, he participated in basketball, football, track, golf and was a member of FFA for four years. He enjoys going out and taking in the beauty of nature and the world, watching sports and hanging out with friends making the most of life. Skyler is attending Central Michigan University studying Sports Management with hopes to get in the field of event coordinating for a major college or professional sports team.
The Thomas G. Varosi Scholarship provides scholarships to deserving graduating students from Ubly High School who process financial need and plan to attend a post-secondary educational institution.
