The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Elle Jacobson as the 2025 recipient of the Douglas and Rose Banker Scholarship.
Elle Jacobson, daughter of Craig and Jane Jacobson, graduated from Sandusky High School as the Class of 2025 Valedictorian. During high school, she was involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, volleyball and softball. Elle is attending Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University, where she is pursuing a degree in Human Biology.
The Douglas and Rose Banker scholarship was established by the Bankers in support of a Sandusky High School Graduate pursuing post-secondary education. Doug and Rose were long-time residents and involved community members in Sandusky. Their hope is that this fund inspires and encourages local graduates to pursue their educational goals.
