The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Emma Minard as the 2025 recipient of the Henderson Family Scholarship.
Emma Minard, daughter of Melissa and James Minard, graduated from Sandusky High School. During high school, she participated in tennis, golf, basketball, softball, travel hockey, and National Honor Society. Emma is attending Eastern Michigan University pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. She would like to thank the Henderson Family for awarding her with this scholarship as it will help her a lot.
The Henderson Family Scholarship was created to encourage interest in pursuing the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineer, Mathematics) fields and is awarded to a Sandusky High School graduating senior. The Henderson Family has a long-standing legacy of community involvement which was fueled by their local business and employee connection. Their hope is that the fields that propelled them forward for over 50 years will continue to be a passion for the generations to come.
