The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Ryleigh Ureel as the 2025 recipient of the Peck United Methodist Church Scholarship.

Ryleigh Ureel, daughter of Ron and Heidi Ureel, graduated as Valedictorian of the Peck High School Class of 2025. During high school, Ryleigh participated in volleyball, basketball, track and field, and softball—holding the position of captain of while earning all-state honors. She was also a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council. Ryleigh is attending St. Clair County Community College, where she will earn her associate’s degree while continuing to play softball.

The Peck United Methodist Church scholarship was established to continue the Peck United Methodist Church’s commitment to community outreach. After 129 years of serving the community, the Peck United Methodist Church continues to make a difference through this scholarship, helping support students and families in the Peck community for years to come. This scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors of Peck High School who have demonstrated volunteerism and pride in serving the Peck community.
