The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Angelina Franzel as one of the 2025 recipients of the Douglas and Rose Banker Scholarship.
Angelina Franzel, daughter of Paul and Aubrey Franzel, graduated from Sandusky High School. During high school, she was involved in varsity basketball, softball, and was a member of National Honor Society. Angelina is attending Central Michigan University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.
The Douglas and Rose Banker scholarship was established by the Banker Family in support of Sandusky High School graduates pursuing post-secondary education. Doug and Rose were long-time residents and involved community members in Sandusky. Their hope is that this fund inspires and encourages local graduates to pursue their educational goals.
