The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Kyler LaFond is this year’s 2024 Cros-Lex Pioneers Scholarship recipient.
Kyler LaFond, is the son of Timberly and Nathan LaFond. He plans on attending Michigan State University to get a degree in Human Biology. Kyler took Health Occupations course at the Sanilac Career Center, which strengthened his idea of working with medicine. He was also a part of the student council and the executive board.
The Cros-Lex Pioneer Scholarship was established in 2016 by Croswell-Lexington Schools to promote post-secondary education and recognize students that embody the “Pioneer” spirit.
