The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Molly Gallagher, graduate from Peck High School, is the recipient of the Winston D. McCanam Memorial Scholarship for 2021.
Molly is the daughter of Terrence and Mary Gallagher. She will be attending Lansing Community College for a semester trying to receive transfer credits that will eventually go to Michigan State University. Molly enjoyed numerous high school activities such as National Honor Society, Youth Advisory Council, and Volleyball.
The Winston D. McCanam Memorial Scholarship was established in 2019 in his memory by his family to give graduating students from Peck Jr./Sr. High with a grade point average of 2.4 or above.
The recipient of the scholarship is chosen on the basis of athletic and academic achievement, and financial need. The scholarship is administered through the Sanilac County Community Foundation.
