The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Heather Williford is this year’s Henderson Family Scholarship recipient.
Heather is the daughter of Tammy and Jeff Williford. She is a 2021 graduate of Sandusky High School. During high school, she played varsity soccer, was on the cheer team (sideline and competitive) and participated in Quiz Bowl and the Academic Games. Heather also graduated as valedictorian of her class and was a member of the National Honor Society. She will be attending the University of California, Davis to study mathematics/statistics.
The purpose of this fund is to encourage interest in pursuing the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineer, Mathematics) Fields. To be awarded to a Sandusky Jr. / Sr. High School Graduating Senior. The Henderson family has a long-standing legacy of community involvement which was fueled by their local business and employee connection. Their hope is that the fields that propelled them forward for over 50 years (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) will continue to be a passion for the generations to come.
