The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Sarah Lawson is this year’s 2021 Cros-Lex Pioneers Scholarship recipient.
Sarah Lawson, daughter of George and Cathy Lawson is a graduate of Croswell – Lexington Schools. She was a proud member and leader within the pioneer marching band and symphonic band, as well as being active with the conservation club, mathematics and quiz bowl team member, book club attendee, Girl Scout Salutatorian and senior scholar, and CL5 program graduate. Sarah will be attending Grand Valley State University, majoring in Exercise Science with a clinical focus and plans to continue being involved in band throughout her post-secondary education.
The Cros-Lex Pioneer Scholarship was established in 2016 by Croswell-Lexington Schools to promote post-secondary education, and recognize students that embody the “Pioneer” spirit.
