The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the recipient of the Fred Cady Scholarship is Brett Dumaw.
Brett is the son of Scott and Amy Dumaw. Throughout high school, he was involved in many different activities including Youth Advisory Council, Cross Country, Hockey, Track, National Honor Society, Engineering and Design at the Career Center, and Student Council. Brett plans to attend Michigan State University to pursue a degree in Biosystems Engineering.
The Fred Cady Scholarship Fund was established in September of 1998 by the Sanilac County Association of School Boards to honor Fred Cady, who retired after 22 years as an educator and administrator in Sanilac County. This scholarship is given annually for the educational needs of the Sanilac County area as determined by the Fund Advisory Board. It is administered through the Sanilac County Community Foundation.
