The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Taylor DeLeon as one of the 2025 recipients of the Edward & Amelia Falls Scholarship.

Taylor DeLeon, daughter of Tony and Danielle DeLeon, is a graduate of Carsonville-Port Sanilac High School. During high school, she was involved in theatre, band, National Honor Society, and Student Council, where she held leadership positions. She also participated in robotics, quiz bowl, bowling, and track. The Edward & Amelia Falls Scholarship was established by Philomena Falls, a prominent Lexington resident, who was a strong supporter of public education, having spent more than 41 years in elementary education in the United States, Germany and Japan.  After her retirement, she demonstrated her commitment to the education of Sanilac County residents through her leadership on the Moore Public Library Board in Lexington. This scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors of Carsonville-Port Sanilac High School. Preference is given to students majoring in Education, Counseling, or Guidance.

This scholarship is administered through the Sanilac County Community Foundation (SCCF). For more information on scholarship opportunities, visit www.SanilacFoundation.org or contact the Community Foundation office at 810-648-3634.
