The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce 2024 Sandusky High School graduate, Isabelle Shuart is the 2024 recipient of the Isaac “Ike” Selick Law Enforcement Scholarship.

Isabelle Shuart is the daughter of Tiffany and Brian Shuart. She plans to attend Central Michigan University. During high school, Isabelle was involved in basketball, cross country, tennis, student council, National Honor Society, and Youth Advisory Council.

The Isaac “Ike” Selick Law Enforcement Scholarship was established in 2000 in Ike’s memory by his family to give students who are pursuing a career in law enforcement the chance to achieve their dreams.  Ike Selick retired as a Detective Sergeant with the Detroit Police Department and would be pleased to know that, in his memory, each year a high school graduate receives this scholarship to pursue a career in law enforcement.

This scholarship is administered through the Sanilac County Community Foundation. For more information on scholarship opportunities through the SCCF, contact Joshua Robinson, Executive Director, at the Foundation office at 810-648-3634.
