The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce this year’s 2024 Croswell-Lexington High School graduate, Olivia Pesina as the recipient of the Richard M. Coffelt Memorial Scholarship.

Olivia Pesina is the daughter of Ruben and Amy Pesina. During high school, she was involved in Band and Theatre. Olivia is attending Oakland University to pursue Musical Theatre, music is one of the most important parts of her life.

The Richard M. Coffelt Memorial Scholarship was established in honor of Richard M. Coffelt, Band Director and teacher in the Van Buren Public School system from 1948 to 1972. The scholarship is intended to promote music education and encourage students to participate in a career and/or in music. Money is awarded annually for the education needs of Sanilac County graduating senior.
