The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce this year’s 2024 Peck High School graduate, Lauren Eager as one of the recipients of the Kenneth Alexander Memorial Scholarship.
Lauren is the daughter of Jeff and Corinne Eager. She is attending Northern Michigan University and majoring in Criminal Justice and will be playing on the women’s hockey team there as well. Lauren graduated from Peck High School with a 4.0 grade point average and was the class of 2024 Valedictorian. She was also a member of the National Honor Society for two years. Throughout her high school career, Lauren was a dedicated athlete. Her senior year she was the captain for the cross country, track and field, and hockey teams, and was a co-captain for the softball team.
The Kenneth Alexander Memorial Scholarship was established through Mr. Alexander’s estate and is available to an eligible senior on the Peck High School girls’ softball team to be used to help defray the expenses of college or other post high school education.
