The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the 2024 Green Point Dairy Scholarship recipient; graduate of Deckerville High School is Alyssa Rudgers.
Alyssa Rudgers, is the daughter of Dominic and Sarah Lewis. She is currently attending Saginaw Valley State University to pursue a Cellular molecular Biology major and a minor in business. In high school Alyssa was a part of FFA, National Honors Society, softball, volleyball, Quizbowl, and Academic games.
The Green Point Dairy Scholarship aims to provide inspiration and hope to the future generation of the agricultural community. This scholarship was established in 2022 and is available for a Sanilac County graduating senior that has maintained a minimum GPA of 2.5 and is pursuing a career in agriculture. Green Point Dairy is proud to support youth that are enthusiastic about developing the field of agriculture while also caring for the people, animals, and planet that allow for this field to exist.
