The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Nathen Adamson, graduate of Sandusky High School, has been named the 2024 recipient of the Kevin M. Pearce Memorial Scholarship.

Nathen plans to attend St. Clair County Community College for an associates degree in Precision Machining. In high school, during Nathen’s junior and senior years, he was enrolled in the Engineering and Design program at the Sanilac Career Center. He was team captain for the Baja Team during his senior year. Nathen is the son of Ron Adamson.

The Kevin Pearce Scholarship was established in 2001 in Kevin’s memory by his family to give students a chance to achieve, and to inspire the generations to follow. Kevin, a 1985 graduate of Sandusky High School, passed away on January 24 of 2001. He is remembered as an incredible person and friend who always “set the bar” higher for himself and always inspired others to achieve.
