The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce this year’s 2024 Peck High School graduate, Julia Loftis as one of the recipients of the Kenneth Alexander Memorial Scholarship.
Julia plans to attend St. Clair County Community College (SC4) to pursue a degree in nursing. Her ultimate goal would be a Registered Nurse in a surgical setting. During high school, Julia was a member of the volleyball, basketball, and softball teams all four years. She served as captain for each team for at least one year. Julia was also the class secretary and the student body president.
The Kenneth Alexander Memorial Scholarship was established through Mr. Alexander’s estate and is available to an eligible senior on the Peck High School girls’ softball team to be used to help defray the expenses of college or other post high school education.
