The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce this year’s recipient of the Thorley Family Scholarship is Annelise Jorde.
Annelise’s parents are Doug and Meta Jorde. Throughout all four years of high school, Annelise was involved in band, powerlifting, and tennis, as well as National Honors Society. Annelise plans to attend Central Michigan University to study secondary education in the subject of chemistry.
The Thorley Family Scholarship was established as part of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Challenge in 1996, and is available to an eligible graduate of Croswell-Lexington High School with proven excellence in academic and extra-curricular areas and planning to attend a college/university/trade school to pursue an education in education and/or business finance.
