The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Mikaylie Earl, graduate from Carsonville-Port Sanilac Schools is the 2019 recipient of the Daniel James Brabant Scholarship.
Mikaylie is the daughter of Anthony Earl of Port Sanilac. She was on the varsity track team her junior year and was also a member of National Honor Society for two years, being the president for one year. Mikaylie plans to attend Saint Clair County Community College to get an associates in science and then transfer to a university to pursue a career in chemical engineering.
This scholarship has been created to commemorate the life of Daniel James Brabant. Dan was a graduate from Carsonville-Port Sanilac High School. He graduated with Honors from Michigan State University with a degree in Business and Economics and was an avid bow hunter, weight lifter, and Michigan State Fan.
