Sarah Eddy is the granddaughter of Sue and Jerry Cook of Kingston. Sarah is a member of the National Honor Society, Youth Advisory Council, Business Professionals of America and also was on Varsity Cheerleading. She was involved in volunteering such as organizing two coat drives that collected coats that were given to Department of Human Services, organizing a project that raised money to buy necessities that were then donated to a homeless shelter, over 40 hours donated to volunteering in nursing a home. Also, Sara has volunteered at Red Cross blood drives, the Lions Club White Cane events, and food distributions held at Heaven Sent, a charitable organization.
The Edward Huntoon Scholarship was established in 2009 in his memory by his family. Mr. Huntoon was an active businessman in the Marlette community, and was always committed to the importance of education. His family is happy to be able to support students in their effort to attain a college degree.
