The prevention of child abuse requires continuous education. The Sanilac County Child Abuse Prevention Council (SCCAPC) promotes the safe and healthy development of children and families through community education and development. SCCAPC acknowledges that by being a part of the Sanilac County Community Foundation, additional funds can be directed toward their program. This fund was founded in April of 2002 through vision and caring on the part of the SCCAPC Council.
