The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Kayiah Browning, Abbey Stanley, and Madisyn Taylor as the 2025 recipients of the SC4 Scholarship.

Kayiah Browning, daughter of Harold and Jayme Browning, graduated from Brown City High School as the Class of 2025 Salutatorian. During high school, she participated in volleyball and cheerleading, served as Vice President of the National Honor Society, President of her graduating class, and Editor of the Yearbook. Kayiah is attending St. Clair County Community College where she is pursuing a degree in Nursing.

Abbey Stanley, daughter of Chris and Stephanie Stanley, graduated from Brown City High School as the Class of 2024 Salutatorian. During high school, she attended the Brown City Honors Banquet all six years and completed dual enrollment courses from St. Clair County Community College and Delta Community College. She was a member of National Honor Society, serving as Secretary in her senior year. She was a four-year varsity basketball player and three-year varsity volleyball player. Abbey is attending St. Clair County Community College pursuing an associate’s degree in Radiography.

Madisyn Taylor, daughter of Melissa Murray and Andrew Taylor, graduated from Peck High School. During high school, she was involved in Student Council, National Honor Society and participated in softball, volleyball, track, basketball, and trap shooting. She was also a part of the Baja Team at the Sanilac Career Center. Madisyn is attending St. Clair County Community College pursuing a degree in Welding and Fabrication.

The SC4 scholarship is designated for Sanilac County residents who plan to attend St. Clair County Community College to pursue their post-secondary education.
