The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Olivia Pesina as the recipient of the Lexington Arts Council “Artistic Future” Scholarship for 2024.

Olivia Pesina is the daughter of Ruben and Amy Pesina and a graduate of Croswell-Lexington High School. During high school, she was involved in band and theatre. Olivia is attending Oakland University pursuing a degree in musical theatre as music is one of the most important parts of her life.

The Lexington Arts Council Scholarship supports graduating seniors from Croswell-Lexington High School who demonstrate a passion for the arts. Established by the Lexington Arts Council, this scholarship aims to encourage and empower students pursuing higher education in artistic disciplines, including visual arts, music, theater, and creative writing. By fostering creativity and supporting young talent, the scholarship reflects the Council’s commitment to enriching the community through the arts.
