The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Thomas Geiger, graduate of Brown City High School, is the recipient of the Sacred Heart Church Women’s Auxiliary Scholarship for 2024.

Thomas is the Son of Chad and Lori Geiger of Brown City. Throughout high school, he took college classes, having made the president’s list twice, and worked to obtain his Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA). Thomas also attended the Brown City Honors Banquet all six years and was a member of the 2024 GTC All-Conference Academic Team. He played on the varsity basketball and baseball teams, helping win a league title in basketball and district titles in both basketball and baseball. He was also an All-Academic Scholar-Athlete. In addition, Thomas was a part of the school’s National Honors Society, and class secretary his junior and senior year. Thomas is attending Oakland University to major in Electrical Engineering.

The purpose of the Sacred Heart Church Women’s Auxiliary Scholarship fund is to recognize a graduating high school senior(s), from one of the donor churches that are an active member of their community.
