The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Tyler Nelson, graduate of Sandusky High School, has been named the 2020 recipient of the Kevin M. Pearce Memorial Scholarship.
Tyler is the son of Brian Nelson and Debbie Nelson. Throughout high school, he was involved in multiple sports including Basketball, Baseball, Tennis and Football. Tyler will be attending Delta College.
The Kevin Pearce Scholarship was established in 2001 in Kevin’s memory by his family to give students a chance to achieve, and to inspire the generations to follow. Kevin, a 1985 graduate of Sandusky High School, passed away on January 24 of 2001. He is remembered as an incredible person and friend who always “set the bar” higher for himself and always inspired others to achieve.
