The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Christopher Mutch, graduate of Marlette Jr/Sr High School is one of the 2019 recipients of the Marlette Art Scholarship.
Christopher is the son of Drs. Robert and Janet Mutch of Marlette. He graduated with high honors as both Summa Cum Laude and a Senior Scholar at Marlette. As a four year Varsity Soccer player, National Honor Society secretary, Student Government president, and BPA president, Christopher was, and remains, very active in his community. Additionally, Christopher works at Thumb Veterinary Services, as he will be attending the University of Arizona to study Pre-Veterinary Medicine before returning to Michigan for Veterinary School.
This scholarship was established to recognize the artistic talents of students at Marlette High School. To apply for this scholarship, students must upload a photo of a self-made work of art along with a personal essay answering the question, “What is Art?”.
