The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Kate Hartman as the 2025 recipient of the Port Sanilac Garden Club Scholarship.
Kate Hartman, daughter of Lou and Stacie Hartman, graduated from Croswell-Lexington High School. During high school, she was involved in 4-H, FFA, and obtained her Welding Certification. Kate is attending Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming studying Natural Resource Management.
The Port Sanilac Garden Club Scholarship Fund was established for graduating seniors from Carsonville-Port Sanilac Schools, Deckerville Schools, or that have attended the Sanilac Career Center. It is awarded to students who possess a minimum 2.7 GPA and are pursuing an education in Agriculture, Horticulture or related.
