The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Angelina Franzel as the 2025 recipient of the Kevin M. Pearce Memorial Scholarship.
Angelina Franzel, daughter of Paul and Aubrey Franzel, graduated from Sandusky High School. During high school, she was involved in varsity basketball, softball, and was a member of National Honor Society. Angelina is attending Central Michigan University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
The Kevin M. Pearce Memorial Scholarship was established in Kevin’s memory by his family to give students a chance to achieve and to inspire the generations to follow. Kevin was a 1985 graduate of Sandusky High School and is remembered as an incredible person and friend who always “set the bar” higher for himself and always inspired others to achieve.
