The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Emma Roberts as the 2025 recipient of the John & Lila Cook / Peck United Methodist Church 4-H Scholarship.
Emma Roberts, daughter of Chuck and Ann Roberts, graduated from Deckerville High School. During high school, she participated in volleyball, basketball, softball, and equestrian. She was also a member of the National Honor Society, Youth Advisory Council, and Student Council. Emma is attending Michigan State University studying animal science with plans to enroll in their Veterinary Medicine program.
The John & Lila Cook / Peck United Methodist Church 4-H Scholarship was established on behalf of John and Lila Cook. John, Lila, and the Peck United Methodist Church have been longtime supporters of the 4-H community, and it is their hope that this scholarship keeps that support and relationship alive for generations to come. Applicants must have participated in 4-H and have a 2.5 GPA or greater. Special attention to those who demonstrate community achievements and activities.
