The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Ava Collins as the 2025 recipient of the Jimmy Johnston Memorial Scholarship.
Ava Collins is the daughter of Aaron and Stephanie Collins. During high school, she played softball, volleyball and basketball. She served as treasurer for both the National Honor Society and her class and was also a member of Student Council. Ava is attending St. Clair County Community College studying General Education.
The Jimmy Johnston Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the life of Jimmy by his family. It is available for Peck High School graduating seniors that display good moral character and sportsmanship.
