The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Justin Johnson and Sophia Krajewski as the 2025 recipients of the Eleanor M. Bowman Scholarship.

Justin Johnson, son of Suzanne and Richard Johnson, graduated from Carsonville-Port Sanilac High School. During high school, he played varsity basketball and volunteered within the school community. Justin is attending Ferris State University, where he is pursuing a degree in Construction Management.

Sophia Krajewski, daughter of Tammy and Ronald Krajewski, graduated from Carsonville-Port Sanilac High School. During high school, she was involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, and powerlifting. She was also a member of Student Council, National Honor Society and accumulated countless hours of volunteer work. Sophie is attending Delta College pursuing a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

The Eleanor M. Bowman Scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors of Carsonville-Port Sanilac High School who plan to pursue a college education in the field of music or music education. If there are no graduating students entering the field of music or music education, the scholarship is then awarded to graduating students who demonstrate a need of financial assistance.
