The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Taylor DeLeon as the 2025 recipient of the Daniel James Brabant Scholarship.
Taylor DeLeon, daughter of Tony and Danielle DeLeon, is a graduate of Carsonville-Port Sanilac High School. During high school, she was involved in theatre, band, National Honor Society, and Student Council, where she held leadership positions. She also participated in robotics, quiz bowl, bowling, and track. Taylor is attending the University of Michigan pursuing a degree in Biology, Health, and Science with the goal of entering the health field.
The Daniel James Brabant scholarship was established to commemorate the life of Daniel James Brabant. Dan was a graduate from Carsonville-Port Sanilac High School. He graduated with Honors from Michigan State University with a degree in Business and Economics and was an avid bow hunter, weightlifter, and Michigan State Fan.
