The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Matthew Herbert as one of the 2024 recipients of the Diane Wendt Scholarship.
Matthew Herbert is the son of Troy and Katrina Herbert and a graduate of Croswell-Lexington High School. During high school, Matthew played varsity soccer for four years and varsity bowling for two years. He is very active in his church and volunteering opportunities. Matthew is attending Indiana Wesleyan University studying Pastoral Ministries.
The Diane Wendt Scholarship was established to support and encourage graduating seniors at Croswell-Lexington High School in their pursuit of post-secondary education. This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding achievements in Art, Music, Sports, Science, and Academics and aims to ease the financial burden of furthering their education.
