The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Abagayle Barkley as one of the 2024 recipients of the Diane Wendt Scholarship.
Abagayle Barkley is the daughter of Bryan and Catherine Barkley and a graduate of Croswell-Lexington High School. During high school, she participated in cross country, track, and competitive cheerleading. Abagayle is attending Spring Arbor University pursuing a degree in Biology, with plans to apply to the Master of Physician Assistant Studies program, while also running on their cross country and track team.
The Diane Wendt Scholarship was established to support and encourage graduating seniors at Croswell-Lexington High School in their pursuit of post-secondary education. This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding achievements in Art, Music, Sports, Science, and Academics and aims to ease the financial burden of furthering their education.
