The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Lauren Eager as the 2024 recipient of the Marvin Longuski Educational Scholarship.
Lauren is the daughter of Jeff and Corinne Eager. She graduated from Peck High School with a 4.0 GPA and was the Valedictorian for her class. Lauren was a member of the National Honor Society for two years and was a dedicated athlete. Her senior year, she was Captain of the cross country, track and field, and hockey teams, and was a Co-Captain of the softball team. Lauren is attending Northern Michigan University majoring in Criminal Justice while also playing on the women’s hockey team.
The Marvin Longuski Educational Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Marvin Longuski by his family. Marvin was a long-time educator, member of the Peck School Board and respected community leader.
