The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Caelei McClain, Ayden McComb, and Lukas Franzel as the 2024 recipients of the Eastern Michigan Bank Scholarship.

Caelei McClain, daughter of Jennifer and Bryon McClain, is a graduate of Croswell-Lexington High School where she was a member of the Varsity Tennis team. Caelei is attending Michigan State University pursuing a major in Communicative Sciences and Disorders.

 

Ayden McComb graduated from Croswell-Lexington High School. While in high school, she was active in Student Council, National Honor Society, SADD Club, Youth Advisory Council, and Varsity Soccer. Ayden is attending Grand Valley State University studying Business Management. She is very grateful for her mother, Jennifer McComb, attributing much of her success to her.

 

 

 

Lukas Franzel is the son of Jim and Jodi Franzel and a graduate of Sandusky High School. While in high school, Lukas played golf where he was awarded “Most Improved Player” for three years. He also played football from third grade through his senior year and was a member of the band for seven years. His sophomore year, he was initiated into the National Honor Society where he participated in many opportunities to volunteer in the community. Outside of school, Lukas enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, and being with his friends and family. He is attending Central Michigan University pursuing a major in Finance.

 

This scholarship is provided by Eastern Michigan Bank in support of Sanilac County graduates. Preference is given to students pursuing Finance, Accounting, or a degree in a related field.
